November 27, 2011 Update: The display is up and tonight is the first night we will have them all on. Like us on facebook so you can keep up with our status. Please remember to always check the status before coming out as rain will always cancel the show. November 11, 2011 Update: We start putting up the display tomorrow. We spent last weekend checking most the lights to get them ready to go up. We would like to personally thank the thousands of visitors we had last Christmas season and hope to see you again this year. We've had over 30,000 visitors to the web site alone from all around the world and thousands of visitors who came by in person. We hope you enjoyed the display as much as we enjoyed having you come by. The smiles on the children and the adults alike were priceless. We look forward to seeing you again this year. Get ready for some big changes this year as we have gone from 64 channels to 128 channels of computerized lighting. Keep checking back for updates..... Here's a bit more about the display: We have been decorating our homes for nearly 30 years and each year the display grows more than the previous year. This year we have over 80000 lights with nearly 1/4th of these controlled by light controllers. Additionally we have numerous handmade displays and hundreds of other decorations. We have challenged ourselves to create a display of lights that has a balance of synchronized lights and static lights. While the use of light controllers can create dramatic effects when the entire display is animated, our goal is to offer an experience that is not only dramatic, but peaceful, joyful, relaxing, and one that brings back memories for adults and creates memories for children. We have over a 1/4 acre of lights and displays. The display includes a Nativity Scene, Santa and Mrs. Claus, 3 Mega Christmas trees, 75 light trees, reindeer, snowmen, penguins, a lighted bridge, Toy Soldiers, the Dickens Family, Santa Train, Candy Canes and much more. Many of the neighbors in the Valley Creek Subdivision have decorated their homes, so you may want to take a drive down Creekside Drive as well when you come out. We hope you will come by to see them and enjoy them as much as we do.
If you get the opportunity,
we welcome you to stop by and enjoy the lights. Feel free to get
out and stay a while, but
please do not
park in the neighbors grass.
You can park on the road off the grass and still allow enough room for
others to get around. We have a cul-de-sac at the end of Valley
Creek to turn around in. Please take caution when approaching as there
is often children in the area. We look forward to seeing you.
